INFORMATION FOR MARCH REGIONAL 2023 at Cypress Bay

REGISTRATIONS

  • Postmarked deadline for the completion of registration is February 18, 2023.

  • Make checks for registration only payable to Cypress Bay High School. Do not include pizza money in your check. That will be a separate check.

  • Please bring your printed enrollment list from famat.pythonanywhere.com with the participating competitors’ names and ID#s highlighted.

  • Registration is open from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the administration office.

  • Students should be in their testing rooms no later than 9:25 for Round 1.

  • All individual tests will be administered in the 300/400/800 building.

  • All Team Rounds will be held in the Cafeteria.

  • We will be offering speed and mental math tests. Mental Math will be offered during round 1 and Speed Math will be offered during round 2. They will be held in our auditorium. A maximum of three students from each school can take speed math and a maximum of three students from each school can take mental math. An unlimited number of sponsors from each school can compete in each. Students and sponsors participating in the mental math competition MUST HAVE A PEN.

  • There will be an Interschool test.  The Interschool test will include questions about each participating school and their sponsors.  Please complete the questions on the registration so that they can be included in the test.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

  • All buses must enter through Gate #5 (THIRD ENTRANCE OFF VISTA PARK) to drop-off students.  This is NOT the first entrance to Cypress Bay. YOUR BUS WILL GET STUCK IF YOU USE THE FIRST ENTRANCE.

  • Buses may park in the student lot in Gate #3 after drop-off.

  • All cars should park in the student parking lot at Gate #3.

FOOD INFORMATION

  • The following food and drinks may be pre-ordered before 2/18/23:

  • Pizza: Pepperoni and/or Cheese

  • Drinks: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Water

  • Pay for food and drinks by separate check (payable to CBHS Math Booster Club) or cash on the day of the competition. PLEASE DO NOT ADD YOUR PIZZA/DRINK MONEY TO YOUR REGISTRATION CHECK!

  • Link for pre-ordering food and drinks will be available Jan 15th 

  • Our booster parents will be selling drinks and snacks on campus on March 4.
